News For SaleBrand new 14 frets D hole - £2200 This is a beautiful D hole 14 fret model that I completed last month. D hole 14 frets are not classic gypsy jazz guitar as such but have been popular since their introduction in the 50s. The guitar has a figured french walnut back, which looks stunning and sounds just as good as indian rosewood. It was a real pleasure to build this guitar with such wood. When I applied the first coat of varnish on that back, my reaction was "waow!". Scale length: 670mm soundboard- european spruce Back/side- french figured walnut neck- black american walnut fret board/bridge-ebony brass tail-piece tuners- Rubner with brass plate and ebony button Hiscox case included Feel free to contact to request more details or to arrange to try the guitar. Economy gypsy jazz guitar A new model of gypsy jazz guitar is now available at £1500 This guitar is build to offer sound and playability at a cheaper price. The look of the instrument has been simplified to remove any time consuming (and costly) embellishments and it is constructed using carefully selected 2nd or 3rd quality woods (chosen rather for their sounding quality than their look). The guitar is lacquered only on the soundboard and headstock, the rest of the body and neck are finished with Danish oil. The hard case is also replaced by a padded gig-bag. Model available in this version are: Oval hole, D hole 14 , D hole 12 and steel strings. SNCF A travel guitar that reproduces the actual posture and neck feel of a real acoustic jazz guitar.
